Hmmm something about me, really, ok, wanted to do radio since the age of 10 years old, learn to appreciate country music from WBAP Dallas- Ft. Worth as a boy delivering the
Daily Oklahoman in Antlers, Okla. At the age of 15 years old I decided to try to be one of those guys on the radio and started with a one hour show called the Antlers Hour, that was in a remote studio in Antlers, and the main station in
Hugo, Oklahoma, I even had to sell that show to the advertisers myself. From there I decided this was what I was meant to do, worked my first FM station in Hugo and then decided it was time to make a move, got my first major market radio job in
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. and was playing
top 40 radio, loved it. Spent several years in the
Oklahoma City Market, working as a operations manager for a televsion station, and was at the heritage country station in
Oklahoma City, the legendary KEBC, Keeping Everybody Country. Got involved with corporate media with the JC Penney Co. in
Plano, Texas, and decided I needed some rest so I came to Arklahoma. Some may recognize the voice from another station in this market, or on the P.A system during a Cedarville football, basketball or
baseball game as I served as the Voice of the Cedarville Pirates for 12 years. I am heavily involved with
Special Olympics Area IV here, as a Emcee for their events and served as a coach at one time. I have been involved with several charity events around Arklahoma. I am a family man with a total of 16 children and one Grandchild Aron Alan, that my Wife Tammy and I have part in their raising, which included 6 foreign exchange who are listening to me on
Iheartradio.com. Oh can't forget the spoiled children in the home, Ren, Dominique, Abby, and Annie, three dashounds, and Dominique a dashpoo, the really rottten one, I am so Blessed to be have a lot of listener's in Arklahoma, and so Blessed to be on the airways again here at KMAG 99.1, so looking forward to having you aboard again for the ride on KMAG 99.1.............................................
