We've been hearing that changes would coming to the Fort Smith Sanitation schedule. Here is the scoop.
Starting the week of October 5th, recycling and yard waste will be collected every other week. The trash pickup will continue every week.
Yard waste will be collected the week of October 5th and recycling will be collected the week of October 12th, then we will follow with pickup every other week.
Please be sure to break down all of your cardboard boxes. Since we are switching recycle collection to every other week, this is will help to create more space in your bin.
