Could end up being one of the best doughtnuts ever

If you aren't one of those who has already discovered the amazing Hershey's Gold Bar...you should. Now, Krispy Kreme is turning it into a doughnut

The popular doughnut maker has teamed up with the iconic chocolate brand and introduced its latest limited-edition doughnut: the Hershey’s Gold Doughnut.

The new fried dough confectionery treat is a combination of Krispy Kreme’s original glazed doughnut with a salted caramel icing and topped with crunchy pieces of Hershey’s Gold bar.

It's described as a salty sweet doughnut flavor.

“We’ve created the perfect balance between smooth and crunchy by including actual pieces of the salty sweet Hershey’s Gold bar on our Original Glazed Doughnut,” Krispy Kreme Doughnut chief marketing officer Jackie Woodward said in a statement.

Hershey’s Gold bar is made with caramelized creme and salty peanuts and pretzel bits. It was introduced last year and is only the chocolate maker’s fourth candy bar in its 117-year history.
